SecondFi is now live.

Yoroi Wallet has officially transitioned into SecondFi — a self-custody neofinance platform built for spending, sending, staking, and more, all with you in control.

As part of this transition, the Yoroi app has been updated to SecondFi. To continue accessing your wallet, you will need to update your app to the latest version.

What This Means for You

Everything you can do today — holding, sending, and staking your assets — remains exactly the same.

SecondFi builds on that foundation by adding more ways to use your assets in everyday life, including multichain access, global card-based spending, and new features over time.

Your self-custody wallet, assets, and access remain unchanged. You are simply continuing in an upgraded experience.

How to Update to SecondFi

Updating is simple. If you have auto-updates enabled, your Yoroi app will update to SecondFi automatically. If not, you can update it manually from your app store.

Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device.
Search for "SecondFi" or navigate to your list of pending updates. You will see the Yoroi app listed with an available update.
Tap Update to install the latest version. The download will take a few moments depending on your connection.

How to Migrate Your Yoroi Wallet to SecondFi

When Yoroi updates to SecondFi, your existing wallet will automatically be available in the app. Your funds, staked ADA, stake pool delegation, and DRep delegation remain unchanged.

Follow the steps below to access your wallet in SecondFi.

Update Yoroi Wallet to SecondFi through your app store, or let the app update automatically if auto-updates are enabled.
Open the SecondFi app, then review and accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
All your existing Yoroi wallet will automatically restored in the app.
Once the restoration process is complete, your wallet, funds, staking delegation, and transaction history will be available in SecondFi.

If the migration flow does not start automatically, or if your wallet is not detected, you can restore it manually using your recovery phrase or hardware wallet.

Choose Recovery phrase or Hardware Wallet, depending on how you previously backed up or accessed your wallet in Yoroi.
Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your wallet.

The NIGHT redemption feature in SecondFi Mobile allows eligible users to participate in the Midnight claiming process during the redemption phase. It enables you to view eligible addresses, review claim details, and trigger the transaction that redeems your NIGHT tokens.

How do I access the redemption feature?

On SecondFi Mobile:

Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Select Midnight Airdrop to open the NIGHT redemption feature.
You may also be prompted via an in-app notification if SecondFi detects that one or more addresses in your wallet are eligible for NIGHT redemption.

On SecondFi Extension:

Tap the Airdrop icon on the left-side menu.

Viewing and Managing Eligible Addresses

When the feature is opened, SecondFi displays a list of eligible destination addresses found in all the wallets restored in the app. Each address is shown as a card; tapping a card opens a detailed view with:
